Minth Group, vehicle component manufacturer, ranking in the list of Top 100 global OEM automotive parts suppliers, announced the subsidiary Minth Automotive Europe opens a new production factory in Loznica, western Serbia on 10 March, 2022.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Executive Director and the Chairperson of the Company Wei Ching Lein, President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, Minister of Economy Anđelka Atanasković.

As reported, the facility is invested of 100 million euro ($110.3 million), will produce components for battery housings for electric vehicles, as well as other aluminum elements for car bodies, and will be mainly provided to Mercedes Benz, BMW, Renault, and Toyota. Also, it is expected to create more than 1,000 local jobs by 2025.

In recent years, with the gradual increase in the sales of electric vehicles, the market size of battery trays is also ushering in a rapid growth.
